    About Rudy

    He possesses extensive experience working with clients in industries including commercial and residential construction, real estate development, agriculture, cattle ranch operations, manufacturing, professional services, pharmacy, hotel and other rental operations, hospitals, not-for-profit organizations, First Nations, as well as restaurants.

    He is a founding member of the Abbotsford Executives Association, and served as Director from its inception in 2002, as well as two terms as President. Rudy is a former member of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and has volunteered for many community-driven initiatives including the Western Canada Summer Games, BC Summer Games, and the United Way.

    Rudy joined Manning Elliott in October of 2019 as a partner. Prior to that time, he spent 18 years as a Partner/Principal for KPMG, and most recently operated as a Consultant/CFO on a contract basis, for forty businesses in the Fraser Valley.

    Outside the office, Rudy enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Living an active lifestyle, Rudy also enjoys hiking, boating, swimming, travelling to various destinations around the world, as well as participating in a round of golf or tennis match.

    Education

    Since obtaining his CA designation in 1986, then CPA designation in 2013, Rudy has amassed a wealth of professional and volunteer experience within the profession. He has served as an accounting instructor at the University of the Fraser Valley from 1999 to 2000, as well as conducted numerous informative seminars to local businesses and the general public regarding new accounting standards, tax and transition planning.
