About Vivian
Vivian is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the field of finance, specializing in business advisory, accounting, and tax services. Vivian’s journey with Manning Elliott LLP began in August 2023, when she assumed the role of Principal in the Private Company Group.
Vivian has clients in various sectors, including Construction and Real Estate, Healthcare Hospitality, and Technology. Vivian’s breadth of experience has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of the financial dynamics and unique needs of her clients. Vivian is fluent in both English and Chinese which further establishes her as a trusted link connecting clients between Asia and Canada.
Vivian’s journey has been one of continuous growth. Vivian began her professional career in 2008 at RSM Canada (formerly Collins Barrow), where she progressed to the role of Senior Manager. During this time, she managed intricate financial engagements, oversaw corporate and personal tax returns, and fostered strong and long-lasting relationships with her clients.
Outside of office, Vivian is a mother of a 4-year-old boy. Together, they share a love for cooking, spontaneous dance sessions to their favourite songs, and embarking on family adventures, which are often centred around sandy beaches and travelling.
Education
Vivian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Alberta, a foundation that has been enriched by her Chartered Accountant designation obtained in 2011 and her completion of the three-year In-Depth Tax program in 2017.
