With over 16 years of combined experience in Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED), Michael is an experienced professional with a wide range of skills and expertise, who can help serve various types of clients from individual entrepreneurs to large-size corporations.
About Michael
Michael joined Manning Elliott in November 2022 as a Principal of our SR&ED tax credit consulting services. Prior to joining Manning Elliott, Michael worked as a Manager at Incentive Access Group, and as a Senior Manager at BDO Canada LLP in their respective SR&ED consulting and advisory services.
Michael has been serving as a board member of SXSW Pitch Advisory since 2019, where his responsibilities are to review applicants from various start-up organizations for the signature SXSW Pitch Event, a premier event with many participants from high profile tech schools, incubators, and many VC/Silicon Valley alumni.
When he is not in the office, Michael can be found enjoying family activities like camping, skiing, and biking around Boundary Bay. Every once in a while, he host’s a karaoke party.
Education
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia in 2004, with a concentration in engineering physics and electrical engineering.
