About Herbert
Herbert advises clients on complex accounting and reporting matters under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. GAAP. He enjoys helping his clients navigate through complex accounting and reporting issues and providing them with clear and effective recommendations. Herbert provides assurance and advisory services to clients in a wide range of industry sectors including technology, mining, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, and real estate.
Herbert joined Manning Elliott in 2020 as a partner, with over 19 years of experience at a “Big 4” firm (In Canada and the U.S). His prior experience also includes serving in senior financial reporting roles at two public companies.
Herbert has served as a member of the CPABC Public Company Forum since 2014 and was previously a member of CPABC Practice Review and Licensing Committee.
When not in the office, Herbert is living an active lifestyle and can be found skiing, biking, or enjoying a round of golf. Herbert is also a dedicated family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
Education
Herbert graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1997 with a Bachelor of Commerce. Herbert obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2000.
