
Fernando has expertise in public company assurance and reporting requirements and in providing management, accounting and tax advice for private owner-manager businesses. Many of Fernando’s clients are in the resource-based industries or are part of the real estate development sector.

It’s rewarding for Fernando to work with his clients to resolve issues in a time-effective way, especially when taking privately held companies public. He provides additional value to his clients by truly caring about their needs and by being very responsive. All of his clients, regardless of size, are important to him.
Fernando enjoys sharing his strong technical accounting knowledge. Clients benefit from his ability to explain complex accounting rules in a personable manner and in terms they can understand.
He is also chair of Manning Elliott’s Information Technology Committee.
His favourite pastimes include house renovating, woodworking and athletic pursuits.
Education
Fernando joined Manning Elliott as a partner in 2006. He completed the Certified General Accountant program in 1995 and went on to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation in 2001.
