We are looking forward to meeting many new faces at recruiting events throughout the summer and on campus during our office hours between May and August this year.

Our firm will begin accepting applications for full-time and co-op articling positions on July 13th, 2018 for the following start dates:

Full-time Students: January & September 2019
Co-op Students: January & May 2019

Manning Elliott will be hiring full-time and co-op articling students for all three of our office locations (Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford). Please ensure you apply on our website on or before Friday, August 24th, 2018 and indicate which office, if any, is your preferred work location.

Interviews for full-time and co-op articling positions will begin the week of September 3rd, 2018, with offer acceptance date on Friday, October 5th, 2018.

Co-op Student Pre-Approved Path
Purpose of Role:
  • Is responsible for learning and applying technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision
Reports to:
  • Manager
  • Senior Manager
  • Partner
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
  • Candidates must be in a Co-op program with a post secondary institution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Provide quality client service
  • Creative problem solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Team member with a positive “can do” approach
Responsibilities:
  • Develops and applies an understanding of public practice
  • Develops and applies technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels
  • Able to use relevant technology
  • Seeks to gain knowledge of client business and general business processes
  • Works effectively within a team
  • Actively listens and ask questions
  • Develops a working knowledge of business market
  • Effectively organizes and documents work
  • Monitors task progress in a timely and organized manner
  • Actively supports and participates in firm wide initiatives
  • Participates in the firm’s Team Development and Performance Management Program
  • Adheres to the firm’s Quality Control Standards

  • To complete the CPA Professional Education Program and successfully pass all Modules
  • Is responsible for learning and applying technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision
Reports to:

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
  • Candidates must complete an undergraduate degree and cover specific subject areas and prerequisites of the CPA Professional Education Program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Provide quality client service
  • Creative problem solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Team member with a positive “can do” approach
Responsibilities:
  • Develops and applies an understanding of public practice
  • Develops and applies technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels

When you successfully complete the Professional Education Program, you will be eligible to take the Common Final Exam in September, 2021.
