Senior Accountant, US Tax

  • Permanent, Full-Time

Purpose Of Role:

Assists Managers and Principal in providing US Tax services on routine and complex US tax engagements.

Reports To:

  • Manager/Senior Manager/Principal

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:

  • Successful candidate will have completed their US CPA designation or are in progress of completing
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • A positive “can do” approach
  • Creative problem solving ability
  • Experience in delivery of quality client service
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Works well under supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing US Corporate, personal and trust tax returns
  • Preparing US tax provisions
  • Correspondence with the Internal Revenue Service
  • Assisting team members in all aspects of US Corporate and Individual tax planning
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of cross-border tax planning
  • Actively supports and participates in firm wide initiatives
  • Participates in the firm’s Team Development Program
  • Promotes the firm’s Quality Control Standards

Salary Range:

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Individual salaries within this range will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
